I’ve been a huge fan of Common since “Like Water For Chocolate”. He’s one of the people that I had on my bucket list of people to shoot before I die (along with Obama, Clinton, Morgan Freeman, and a few others). He came to Howard University as a part of ATT’s 28 Days series, a program that highlights innovation in business and technology. Along with Mario Armstrong, the two spoke about how technology can help people reach their business and personal aspirations and the steps needed to be successful in an endeavor. Common performed “Blue Skies” from his new album, “The Dreamer, The Believer”.
Free (of 106 & Park fame) was also in the house for the event. She looked rather...beautiful.
